Spectral Point is a web design company based in Chicago and Champaign/Urbana, Illinois. Our company is here to serve your needs by providing a full range of creative and technical solutions to make your web presence meaningful and productive. We strive for personal service, while maintaining strong expertise in all areas of web design. We have experience with projects of all types and sizes, from the simple homepage designed to present a strong image to the average web surfer, to large-scale corporate applications handling secure e-commerce over multiple servers, to the small business who wants to have all the automated tools of a large corporation without the unreasonable cost. John Wu, Ph.D.

John is one of the original founders of Spectral Point. John has been working in the IT field since 1996. He started with NCSA, the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, working with the Audio Development Group in the virtual reality CAVE, and simultaneously with the Software Development Group developing a collaborative internet environment in Java.

In 1997, John started a small web design company developing sites for small businesses and subcontracting for other projects. Since that time he has gained extensive technical background in a number of internet programming technologies, and has master certification in PHP, Perl, and Red Hat Linux.

John handles project management, design and coding, and audio and video multimedia production.

Scott Parker, Ph.D.

Scott is another company founder, with a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

His previous experience includes work with large scale computations on parallel architecture supercomputers, including design and development of research codes optimized for both memory and speed.

Scott oversees management of projects as well as contributing directly to the design and implementation.

Fleming Au

Fleming previously worked with companies like 1to1service.com, One in a Million Communications, and Bank of America.

He has over 12 years of experience in web designing and developing, with constant progression in his skills and designs.

Fleming is the head of the Design department, working on creative design and graphical layout for projects, as well as doing web development at DiamondCluster International.
