The Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at the University of Illinois in Urbana/Champaign has a website that was built by a previous in-house employee. Our company worked on transitioning the site to a new server. The key tasks involved updating the backend code using Perl and MySQL, doing comprehensive testing of all features to ensure compatibility with new software and security measures, and maintaining and optimizing database queries and process threads. We also created a full set of documentation for the entire site.
